He recently joined ModnPods as the Commercial Business Development Manager and has a passion for sustainability and environmentally progressive manufacturing. Jamie thrives on engaging in new opportunities, communicating with clients to assess needs and requirements, and forging long-term relationships with commercial consumers. Outside of the ModnPods office, Luke likes to stay active by going to the gym and walking his dogs on the beach. He also enjoys writing music as it helps him relax and can act as an emotional outlet. It’s this creative prowess that bleeds into his work with us here at ModnPods, along with Luke’s keen interest in sustainable design, modular/additive architecture, as well as computational and algorithmic design.

Modscape’s prebuilt homes are only designed to order, allowing it to carefully consider the space, budget and precise nature of the proposed site for each of its designs. If owners do not want people living on their property full time, they can look into the temporary or holiday accommodation options offered by sites such as AirBnB. MODULAR & PREFAB HOMES
For us at Superpod®, modular homes are just part of the picture. While we do use prefabricated elements, we also have the option of building off-site or on-site with our Certified Passive House building system. This POD is designed to Universal Design, LEED, and Built-Green standards. The ground floor has an entry porch, open-plan kitchen, dining and living room, one bedroom and a bathroom. An additional family bathroom and three further bedrooms are found on the first floor. It’s a house that has been built in a factory, transported to its final location, and assembled on-site. Its sections are constructed in a controlled environment before being set down atop permanent foundations somewhere else. At Green Build co. we aim to provide quality information on everything related to sustainability.
The ALPOD prefabricated structure is made from lightweight aluminium so it can be moved wherever needed and recycled at the end of its life. They are easily stacked on top of each other to create high-rise buildings and are great for building on rooftops in dense urban locations. Lisa has over 15 years of financial management and leadership experience across a diverse range of projects, including mergers and acquisitions, property development, offshoring, education, outsourcing, and technology. She has gained international experience by working in Singapore, India, the Philippines, and the USA.
We also pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. She is an innovative thinker and believes in fostering all aspects of human connection because at the end of the day business is people dealing with people. Lauren is a big fan of story telling to create connection, and have some fun along the way. With national experience in creating sustainable change, implementing policy and strategies to embedding Reconciliation within dynamic business environments, Wade has a proven track record in achieving outcomes. Wade joined ModnPods with the strong belief that “Better housing is fundamental to better health, education, employment and social outcomes for First Nations peoples, and this leads to Closing the Gap”. Jamie grew up in Sydney, before moving up to the Gold Coast to study at business school.
Which designs are best?Many manufacturers of prebuilt homes prioritise the use of recycled and sustainable materials. Generally, modular homes have a significantly smaller carbon footprint than sustainable houses built on-site. By utilising low-energy lightbulbs and innovative insulation materials, modular houses often provide considerable savings on energy costs. Self-sufficient prebuilt homes can reduce energy consumption by as much as 72%. Case studies have also shown modular townhouses to use approximately 30% less water than traditional alternatives.

Before turning his attention toward events and communications heading up the Events and Communications team at Surfing Queensland. During his tenure, Ben was responsible for the management and activation of over 25 events per year including World Surf League World Tour event, the Quiksilver Pro. Having studied interior design, architecture and sustainability, Alba’s diverse knowledge and skillset are invaluable to her role and impact here at ModnPods. He is also a keen Surfer and can be found in the ocean whenever he has some spare time. ModnPods has been a passion of Johns along with traveling, surfing and spending as much time with friends and family as he can. It’s crucial that we connect and see beauty in the same things.
Melbourne home of Modular?
These all promote superior indoor air quality inside the sealed tight home. This model by Habitech is designed to optimise the sunlight received by whatever site it’s placed on. The living room and all four bedrooms are intended to face north, creating a house full of natural light. Promising energy-efficient appliances and high-quality finishes, it says its completed homes are fully-functioning and ready to be lived in. It also claims to be able to build and deliver them in just twelve weeks.
